I joined a badminton club outside the school when I was ten years old.I was trained to played badminton since then and I really enjoyed it.I usually go to a badminton center on Zijing Road to train playing badminton.
My trainer was a 45-year-old man named Yuan,we usually called him trainer Yuan.Trainer Yuan was in charged of training the boys from 10 years old to 18years old in the club. I was one of the eldest in the club. However, I couldn’t beat those boys who was younger than me because they had good badminton skill and they have been a member of the club for 4years.Trainer Yuan was one of the athletes in Nanjing badminton team so he was really good at playing and training badminton.
I usually go there on Saturday when I am free. I will bing all my stuff with me there. First lesson in my schedule was to learn how to serve.I thought that serving was too easy. However, trainer Yuan said it’s easy to for me to serve but your serve was low-quality and it means that you couldn’t serve far with strong power , since I am here to be trained, I needed to serve farther than my opponent did or you would lost the game because of a bad ending. Since then, I started the practise serving.Trainer Yuan gave me a basket of badminton ball and I had to serve them all to the other side of the court from one side. He added that I needed to serve all the ball over the secong line of the badminton court. After doing that,I was really tired and he just gave me a 5-minute-break in order to increase my phisical power. Next, I started to serve a badminton ball which was hung by a thread. There was a mirror on my left hand side and it was used to show me the way to serve. The way to serve was really important, you could use a liitle force toserve very far he said.
After the serve training, he I started another training and that was to learn how to play the badminton ball far and high. He put up a posture and asked me to imitate his posture for 10 minutes with him.I imitate him and it didn’t last too long and I felt tired and my arms were painful. On the other hand trainer Yuan was still there putting up his posture for up to ten minutes. From that moment, I knew I couldn’t retreat and give up and I should require more tenacity. Every time I was there,I tried to continue keeping that posture longer and longer.Finally,I did it, I last it for 10 and my badminton skill has been improved. I was really glad.
I learned a lot about myself during that time.I knew I couldn’t be very proud,in stead I should practise harde.I should never give up but keep doing it. After those experience,I learned a lot of badminton skills and some truth. Now,my body becomes more and more strong and I have a lot of phisicai power.I was very active and I wanted to be a badminton player. I think my phisical power was still a limitation for me to achieve my goal.
