A visit to Jiangsu Province Art Museum

I went to the Jiangsu Province Museum with my friends Parker and Joe on the eighth of March. Jiangsu Province Museum was on Changjiang Road next to Nanjing people’s Great Hall. The exhibition was shown freely to the public all the time. The exhibition was called Calligraphy and Chinese painting. There were two floors in the museum building, the first floor mainly contained the calligraphies and there were many Chinese paintings on the second floor. I choose this exhibition mainly because I love painting and drawing.
A calligraphy appeals to me. It was written in ancient Chinese words by a contemporary artist. The title of the calligraphy was “Lively Evergreen trees”. The words were written powerfully in a very dark black on the scroll. I could feel the power of life even the smallest creatures not only from the meaning of the ancient Chinese words but also from the way of writing. I gained a lot of insight from the calligraphy that is I need to be full of courage and confidence to face the future life.
I thought it’s very interesting to me because I was attracted by the contents of the Chinese paiting. I liked the exhibition very much because I gained a lot of insight from those calligraphies and paintings after thinking deeply.

Eat in a Maxico Restaurant with my family

After reading the Nanjing Map Magazine, I found an Mexico restaurant on Zhujing Road. A few years ago, I was fortunate to eat the Mexico food in a USA family(New Mexico), it’s so savory that I cannot forget the good taste until now. Therefore, I recommended my parents and grandparents to go there to eat lunch on the eighth of March)
The Mexico restaurant was located in Zhujiang Road next to the 1912 street. We drove there on Sunday noon. As soon as I got into the restaurant, I saw a status of a Mexico cow boy at the gate and a wooden shelf with many bottles of wine. After passing through the path, we entered the dinning hall. We sat down in a table in the middle of the hall and saw many pictures about grapes and wines surrounding us. Above our head, there were two flags hanging on the roof, one was a flag of China and the other one was a flag of Mexico. All of the above was in order to create a circumstance that let us feel that we have already been there. A waitress wearing Mexican clothes came to us and showed us the menu. I couldn’t wait to order some Mexican cuisines such as Tacos, steaks with rice and some Mexican noodles.
Soon, the first cuisine came, it was the Mexican noodles. It was made by the noodles and a special kind of tomato sauce with some beef. It taste sour and it’s a feature of the Mexican cuisines. We knew that Mexico abounded in tomatoes because of enough sunlight so that the cuisines were normally taste sour. I have o say this one fit my appetite properly. There were also many foreigners eating in that restaurant besides us. I would recommended others to eat in the restaurant not only because of the savory food but also because the good service. The food was handed over quickly so the customer did not feel hungry and the waitress often asked us if we want to add some water or juice.
